The danger of technology

We have to be careful using our phones, iPods or computers…

Ok, it is convenient, we can call anyone, anywhere (as long as there is signal, and that you have credit of course)…and when you live overseas, it is really good to keep in touch with close friends.

But I mean, isn’t it alarming how people have become addicted to their phone or Facebook….How many times a day do you connect to Facebook? We’ve become technological freaks…

What a drama when we lose our phone, we lose important contacts, texts messages that we liked…We feel lost in the world because no one can contact us, or rather we can’t call anyone…

I lost my phone a few months ago and it was the opportunity to start back to zero, all useless contacts being lost…A cleaning is not bad sometimes, phones are often full of crap.

Anyway, I think it is a bit scary to see the statistcs about how many hours people watch TV or spend in front of their computers playing online games or on “social” networks. Where is the human interaction??

Go out people, have real conversation with real people. How many times did you argue with a friend because your words were misinterpreted…because you just communicate with words, without emotion…

That’s what we are losing with technology: human contact, smile, laugh, hug…

And I think that is a bit sad…

My point is just that we need moderate usage because too much technology is definitely unhealthy there is nothing more pleasant and enjoyable than being with other humans.

PS: I did the slide show a few weeks ago, enjoy.
